Soliloquy's Way Cottage:     For One to Two People
Gas grill & your own HOT TUB!   A very dramatic, elegant 2-story cottage that features a queen bedroom loft with French cast iron electric fireplace, 2nd bedroom with daybed, mirrored bath with washer/dryer, all linens, robes & towels (even bubble baths, perfumes & lotions)  All paper products. Kitchen is fully equipped (including microwave, blender, waffle iron, toaster, crock pot, coffee pot with coffee, tea and condiments). Living room and dining areas are visible from the loft and has TV (no cable), VCR, stereo system with CD & cassette player. The cottage has central heat & air. A large deck overlooks Goosecreek valley (partial view in summer) and includes wrought iron/glass dining set, cushioned chairs, cushion slider love seat.      Cereal, Milk and juice included.   Check-in  at 4 PM or after  and Check out  at 1 PM

Hideaway Place:     For One -Two People
Enjoy your own very private place and deck! This is a cute manufactured bungalow tastefully furnished in English country styling, with queen bed, all linens, towels, robes, fully equipped kitchen including microwave, toaster and coffee pot. (Coffee, tea and condiments are provided.) It features a large kitchen, counter top bar and stools, living and dining areas, crackling electric fire logs in freestanding fireplace, washer/dryer, TV (no cable), VCR, stereo and boom box, electric furnace, window air conditioning. Beside the inviting hot tub is a gas grill, cushioned chairs, dining table & chairs, complete with a cheery umbrella.  Cereal, Milk and juice included.  Check-in  at 4 PM or after and Check out  at 1 PM

The Tiara House:    For One  or Two People

This is the crowning gem of Serenity's Edge! A cheerful home that emphasizes plush elegant furniture and oriental detailing. The Oriental bedroom features a queen bed with a spacious bath that includes a sky-lit 2-person soaking tub and separate shower. The sky-lit kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, coffeepot, blender, crock pot, crushed ice maker, toaster, dishwasher, an open breakfast counter top bar, and adjacent washer/dryer area. Tea, coffee, sugar are provided. There is a cheerful sunroom with leather furniture. The living room includes a striking stone gas-log fireplace with a component stereo CD, radio, cassette, VCR, DVD and color TV. You have a formal dining room. There is a second full bath off the dining/living room area. You have your own private deck with a beautiful view  (partial view in summer), gas grill, cushioned wrought iron furniture including an umbrella at the dining table and rocker loveseat., PLUS YOUR OWN HOT TUB! All linens, towels and comfy terry bathrobes are included. The heat pump provides year-round climate control. This home is wheelchair accessible.    Cereal, Milk and juice  included.   Check-in  at 4 PM or after  and Check out  at 1 PM.

*IF your map program sends you from I 81  to the Buchanon exit, we suggest you NOT take this route because this is a very steep mountain drive.  It is easier driving to take  Exit 150 off I 81.

Please use our directions (below) to insure your arrival on the mountain.

From the Blue Ridge Parkway: At Mile Marker #106, take the Bedford/ 460 exit. Continue on 460 East. Pass the town of Montvale (lots of gas tanks). Continue on 460 East for about two miles. Turn left onto #689 (Irving Road). Take next left onto Murray Hollow Road.(#717) ***follow directions below.

 From I-81: Take exit 150A and take 220 Alternate, go about 5 miles. When road ends, turn left onto 460 East heading towards Lynchburg (also called Route 22I). Go about 12 miles. Pass the town of Montvale (lots of gas tanks). Continue on 460 East for about two miles. Turn left on #689 (Irving Road). Take next left on Murray Hollow Road.(#717)*** follow directions below.

From Roanoke: Take Route 460 East (221) for about 16 miles. Pass the town of Montvale (lots of gas tanks). Continue on 460 East for about two miles. Turn left onto #689 (Irving Road). Take next left onto Murray Hollow Road.(#717) ***follow directions below.

From Bedford: Take Route 460 West for about 8  miles. Roughly 1/2 mile before your turn-off you will see a long white fence and Don Spark's Mobile Home Moving.  Take a right on Nester Road (#690). Immediately you will go over a railroad track. Turn left on Irving Road (#689) Go about 1/2 mile. Take next right on Murray Hollow Road (#717).

 ***At the beginning of Murray Hollow Road, go 3 1/2 miles up the mountain - you will climb almost 1000 feet (The first mile is paved, then it changes to a state-maintained gravel road) until you see four white mailboxes & Serenity's Edge sign. Go through the blue gate. PLEASE check in at the house with the steps, marked "Sunshine".

Half of total dollar amount of the reservation is required to reserve your dates and lodging with a credit card. The final balance is due 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE and will be charged to your card.
Payments are returned with more than 14 days notice of cancellation. If the cottage can be re-booked, the deposit is returned with 13 or less days notice. If the cottage cannot be re-booked, the deposit is forfeited.
